 It gets mounted right in front of your Rad to the (2) bolts that hold the top of the bumper on. They say it will result in better airflow through the radiator, AC heat exchanger, and engine bay (this includes the heat-producing monster we know as the supercharger). Ultimately, the MINI owner will experience better response from the air conditioner, less heat soak in the engine bay, and even a cleaner engine bay because of the redirected air. Dome of these claims are BS but it looks cool. I just spray METH to keep things cool in the motor, why because Meth it keeps everything clear inside the motor clean and it adds HP if you are tuned for it.
I think it looks good and helps to make a messy area of the car not so messy looking. Does it have a benefit? I doubt it.
Yup, it does fill the void between the rad and the back of the front bumper nicely. I would install one if it was free. :ihih::lol:
The idea makes some sense. If you look at the radiator right behind the bumper it's cleaner than above or below it. The thought is the air pressure from the 2 openings make a dead zone behind the bumper. The divider blocks the top one from fighting with the bottom so air from the bottom can come up and flow through the previously dead area. But I didn't want to pay big bucks to find out if it was right.
Mark is pointing to what looks like a bunch of SS exhaust tips.... They actually are SS Knife, Fork & Spoon dispensers... They were installed in the food line at the cafeteria of Denison University...
Are you sure Mark was trying to figure out how he could get that many exhaust tips on his car. :ihih::lol::lol::lol:
