Very nice work as always! Love the floaty numbers. Bet you could sell sets of those to the auto x folks.
Made an "Origami" style 1/8" thick steel bench..... Getting installed in a local area "Hipster" restaurant....Once approved, 9 more will get made...
Very nice work Chuck as always. Are those casters in the first picture going to be installed on the orgasami bench?
Hipsters? Or Hip-replacesters? Just kidding. I can say that given my current state of disrepair and recovery. Good looking bench.
One is the general contractor.... One is the designer... The important one (not pictured) is the client/owner... That's the one that needs to be a smiling.....
Are the holes for "looks" or to add bracing at some point.. Cool idea and relatively cheap. Maybe....
Very observant.... Holes on the seat surface are for screw attachment into a walnut seating surface... Holes in the backrest are for screw attachment into a leather back cushion.... So my metal will be seen at all the other exposed surfaces... The client likes the look and color of the steel with the other materials used in the restaurant..... And of course the tabs at the base and one end are to fasten the unit to the floor and brick side wall...
The rest of their kitchen isn't what I was expecting with a custom steel hood like that, but it does look good! Nice work indeed.
Bet they wished they had pushed those recessed lights a little further off the cabinets now, though. Or at least went with some track lights to brighten the cooking surface.
I thought the same thing.... I bothers me the light pattern wasn't even centered... You can't see this in the photo's, but there is a filter / fan / lighting module that is supplied from "Vent A Hood". Additional lighting is directed to the cooking surfaces...
I learned a long time ago not to question people's taste.... I let them tell me what they want... I tell myself... It's OK.... Not my house...
