Clouds are building from the north west, temps are holding at 102, should get rain in the next 24 hours, likely with tornadoes, hail, lightning, local flooding, high humidity and winds, but it will COOL to the 90's

It was 105 at 2:30 when I went to Lunch and cruzing though the corp park it dropped to whooping 102.

No, I hate the power loss in my almost-stock little R53 with the ac on.
So I suck it up and just sweat..... another reason vinyl seats are good... they wipe right off :ihih:

 

Just got back in Ohio from Burning-Ham, Alabama. Although its 94 in Columbus it feels a lot cooler than the last two days down there. It's going to be HOT at Mid-Ohio this weekend for the Indy Cars and ALMS, but the spectator viewing should be phenominal:ihih::ihih::beer:beer

 

The stuff is tenacious, grows across concrete like it was soil, grows underground, overground, and it's seeds last for years. A regime of killing it over and over again is the only way to get rid of it, female dog pee won't touch it, and we have 3 of them. So Round-up, mowing down to dirt are the order of the day for the next 2 months.

I would rather be spectator watching:drool

 

High 80's today but the humidity was off the charts! Go outside for 5 minutes and your like a damp dish rag, nasty.

 

Yes but complaining about the heat in the central valley is like complaining that it's hot in Vegas or Phoenix in the summer - it's supposed to be hot there!

When I got in the car to go to lunch today the car said it was 101.
Weird tho... Yesterday seemed worse.

 

We were in PA two years ago over the July 4 weekend and spent July 4 at Gettysburg for the reenactment. I have never been so hot in my life. It was a relief to return to FL. We liked PA very much though and wandered into the state capitol building in Harrisburg. Wow!
We had no idea what a treasure that was.
We went through Hershey and stopped to buy chocolate at the factory.
My husband was worried that we wouldn't be able to get on the plane with all that liquid.

 

Yeah it was 101 at my work today, damn it was hot. I can't even wash my car when it's that hot out. Ugh

Must ask Santa for my own air conditioned car wash bay for Christmas. :aureola:
