Here in KC today wasn't too bad, we had a pretty good rainstorm last night, as much as 2" of rain, and it only got up to the mid 80's. But at least we're not dealing with flooding like Duluth is! Parts of that town got 9" overnight!
But the heat is coming....one of the premier car shows in KC - the Art of the Car in benefit for the KC Art Institue is this Sunday, and I'd like to go - but it's supposed to 99* with about a million per/cent humidity that day. I'm going to have to pass.......

Congratulations on the house closing Jim. Your garage looks like a blank canvas waiting for your artistic/mechanical touch. AC in the garage, wow! I leave the door to the house open & it does cool my garage somewhat, but makes the house cold like a meat locker. Babs does not like that. :frown2:
Went for a top down drive yesterday in Not N MG, SPF 100 to the rescue. So hot though, not enjoyable in the least. -
May you have great happiness and good times in your new home.
It feels good to walk out of the closing room, doesn't it?
Towards the end I'm always willing to sign anything, just get me out of there!
Sorry about the heat though.
It looks like it's going to be a long, hot summer.
It's only supposed to go into the low 90's here.
We're having a cool spell. -

Thanks everyone! Yes the garage is a blank canvas, just put up our two posters from MOTD for now to make it feel like home! Keep the door open? Went to do that yesterday and a black snake came in and tried to stake his claim! Got him out for now and we named him Sid (for Sid Vicious) in case he sticks around
-
I guess Sid was looking for a place to cool off too. -

Oh and Meth makes a car run so much cooler so bring on the heat.
I have sticky tires, great HP /TQ and Meth.

107* here in KC, but thankfully the humididity is way down.....A/C can just keep up so far.
Monday we leave for Colorado Springs for a family vacation/reunion we've beenplanning for two years.......<sighs> -
-
I hope so too.
Those fires are so frightening and destructive.
Colorado Springs is a beautiful place.
I lived there for a couple of years as a child.
Have good trip! -
Staying inside this weekend lol (unless a pool in involved)
Forecast is 108* today :eek6:
Least as the temperature keeps rising, gas keeps falling.... going for 2.75 at one place round here.
