How can one guy own so much beauty???? Enjoy.... YouTube - The Art of the Automobile - Masterpieces from the Ralph Lauren Collection
There has been a show about his cars on HD Theater. Keep an eye out it's been repeated a few times & most likely will again. Wonderful machines!
All it takes is a fancy name on clothing mfg. in China that 8 million idiots who would spend $136.00 of their hard earned money for a shirt that costs .79 to manufacture.
The man created something from nothing but his name and design talent. The brand provides a quality product. It may be expensive to purchase but the products do last. There is no need to begrudge a man for doing very for himself and creating jobs too.
The stuff is good quality. He even made a line of vintage riding breeches, a style which you don't see anymore. I have several pair and love them. Boots, breeches, neck scarf, WWI flying helmet looks good in a MINI. Jim
OK Jim, now you've done it.... Get the outfit on and include the leather flying helmet with the goggles and the silk scarf around the neck, stand next to Foggie and get some pictures taken. It's not real without pictures.....
Now MM. You are a horse dad and should know that only kids wear jodhpurs. All my riding stuff is over at the other barn, so it will be toward the end of the week before I can get the picture, but I will do so. It is a very dashing outfit if I do say so myself. Jim
Jodhpurs are long, snug fitting pants, that go down to the ankle. There is a leather strap that is worn just below the knee to keep them from riding up and are worn with short, ankle high shoes, called paddock boots. They are proper riding attire for children at horse shows, so the parents do hot have to keep buying new full length boots all the time while the child is still growing. There was a post by K-huevo, I believe, where his is jumping a horse wearing them. Now you know more then you ever wanted to know about them. Jim
Nah.... I'm talking about these jodhpurs..... Jodhpurs For Horse Back Riding Or good old George's... By the way, George is pointing the way to the closest Tim Horton's....
Not to belabor a point, that pointless on this site any way, but those are actually "breeches". The two names are often intermixed, but they are actually two different types of pants. Jump in here anytime Rae. :cornut: Jim
Or it might start a new fashion trend in the club. The "Mid Ohio Escadrille". Lafayette Escadrille Jim BTW: You need a new "Spell Chick".
Now, if you were French, had a MINI Cooper S..... It would need to be named.... Wait for it..... Drum roll please.... Escargot.....
