They did that on purpose, to save money. By doing a "6" instead of an "8", which requires substantially less ink, over the course of the one million calendars printed (and the twelve actually sold) the reduction in ink necessary for the "6" led to a total savings of twenty seven cents.

Heh..you ask here...
Barry the Bad would sooner jab himself with sharpened poisoned toothpicks than admit to a visit to this site.
He doesn't like me...I have no idea why.-

I'm sure as pompous a guy that Barry is....he will blame the "girls" for the the calendar not coming out. Would never purchase an MC2 calendar anyways. Refreshing to see I'm not the only one that feels the same affections for Mr Barry

People, people, people....Read the fine print. Just stop it already with the snide remarks about the Gregorian and Mayan calendar stuff.
MC2 measures time in dog years. Technically you are owed a total of twelve issues over seven years with a complimentary chew toy at the end of the cycle.-

From MC2 issue #52
I'm kicking them, yep. A magazine that can't be bothered to check their own spelling on their own website makes me wonder...
Oh, I get, those are correct for the MC2 fork of English.-
