Yikes, the whole calendar thing with the Girls and MC2 went so bad. Somehow, Barry the Bad will attribute some contributing blame me for this in some manner. Heh..
Anyway, you want one? I understand that only about 200 of the 1000 printed were sold. Kelli Creighton and another gal have the balance from what I've heard. They'll send one for $15 in the US with all the money going to the charity they picked out. Don't know which one that is.
I just got an email soliciting from MC2 recently with another "special offer"...
At least this one came with a tube of lubrication jelly, so he IS making progress.
Although if MC2 is out of business, I suppose that wouldn't make any difference for Barry's esteemed company to ask me for money/subscriptions.
Sounds like a classic pyramid scheme....or maybe just inept business practices at best, unethical or criminal at worst...
He needs your $$ to mail out the other calendars....
He will then try to find a way to meet the commitment to you...or hope you don't harass him or sue him and " forget" you....figure half of folks will say "the hell with it" and move on....:crazy:
He might say he is continuing to try to did out of a hole...but in the process he is giving the mini world a bad name....and I'd bet $$ he is skimming a nice little $$ off the top as a "service" fee....
Perhaps he has done more harm than good over the years to mini folks...
Maybe its time to think about doing more than make fun of him....
I emailed Barry about this a week or so ago, still no calender. He replied back with a complimentary PDF version of the calender and said mine should be in my mail box next week, well next week has come and gone and I'm honestly done trying to get the damn thing. MC2 will never see my business again.
We should all chip in and buy Barry a walking stick (a seeing eye dog would be too expensive, and I'd question his ability to take care of it properly).
