:cornut: So DaveO. the sewing sight gives you.....ah.....uh.....um 'wooden pistol in your pocket'. Wow I never knew that you liked it that much. Jason
Not defending Alta's product but there are tons of vendors who re-tag items to sell. Wasn't TSW doing that 5 years back with their engine damper. Check out Johson Controls. They manfuacture all kinds of stuff, car batteries being just one of them but they market nothing, everybody else puts their name on it..
:cornut: Our own Metalman makes faux aircraft airframes(excellent job too) and hasn't opened a faux airframe dealership. We're all trying too hard to trash people around here lately. We're the 'fun and friendly' site, remember? Jason
I am the world's worst when it comes to grammar and spelling. (my kids corrected me when they were in jr high) So the typos not bother me. I see them in other mags and books also. Proof reading was been left to the software. (2012 looks correct to it) After writing a number of technical papers in the past I know that staring at your own work over and over just won't work.
Many, many (if not most) small business's design products and then out source the manufacturing. Why is this a bad thing? Sorry, now back to our regularly scheduled thread.........:biggrin5:
I also am grammatically & spellzing challenged. That being said anyone who puts out a magazine with those errors is doing something very wrong. Just my .02.
All this Kant talk makes me want wax philosophical... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6b7r5jIEe9s]Monty Python - The philosopher song - YouTube[/ame]
Phew. For a microsecond there, after reading the word "wax", stream of conciousness kicked in, and I was afraid it was at some point that word was going to be followed by the word "bikini". I'm still a bit unsettled by the whole experience.
One word....quality. Their products do not hold the quality standards that I expect. As previously mentioned... Welded ends on a stabilizer bar are not a quality item. Just my opinion and my decision not to buy their "stuff". End of story.
