So, this has gone on for a few days here now, I come in and make some valid statements, and Im the bad guy......lol! And Dave.....you don't like what I say....grow up and reread what you told me.
Blah blah blah... Give it rest. Ya'll need to stop this back and forth garbage. Like a bunch of hens needing to get in the last cluck..
My dad can beat your dad up. Well, maybe he can't, but I'm pretty sure he could beat your mom up. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure. Or maybe one of your kids, if they're under 5 feet tall, and suffer from 2 or more chronic medical conditions.
Still some good products, seems they just came out with some high end coilovers......still love my original M7 coilovers..... How do I get rid of the emoticon at the heading?
Ok, here's another example of poor proof reading. Latest issue #44, page 20, top picture. "Mike Roberts at Pittsburg Raceway." That's the back straight at VIR! Like I said before, this kind of stuff drives me nuts!
If you don't like the mag why keep reading it!!! Kinda like the old ladies bitching about playboy. If you don't like what's in it don't look at it I say!!!! It's been the same for 6-7 years now... go look at road/track or car and driver etc. About cars most of us will never be able to afford.
I know what you are saying and believe me if it wasn't the only domestic MINI magazine I would cancel my subscription. But the bad spelling, bad grammar and just plain bad proof reading just gets me. I subscribe to R&T, C&D, Autoweek and more but have never seen anything like what MC2 puts out in print. Ok, I'm done, someone else can pick this up if they want to.
I get those mags as we'll, and your correct they don't have near as many mistakes in them. Does happen though. They are all part of a big publishing agencies with much more staff to weed out mistakes. I take the MINI mag for what it is and I don't get picky with it as I guess others do. I assume all these others also correct others spelling in posts and emails??? That would be a full-time job around here..
Agree wholeheartedly. Watching folks continue to expend considerable energy and time on something they don’t like is funny though. :deadhorse:
I don't understand the considerable hatred here for MC2. If you don't like the product, why do you devote so much mind space to it?:crazy:
Maybe I'm the only guy here that enjoys MC2. Yea, there are mistakes in it, but so what? It's dedicated to the cars we love. I get something out of each issue. Could it be better? Probably. But if it were to go away we'd be out of any MINI/Mini stateside publications. I think y'all are being pretty damn hard on Barry. I too hope it gets better, but if it doesn't, I'll still keep getting it.
