I went with Best... I requested Anson.... Nice guy and great MINI mechanic...
Had a bunch of stuff done last Fall in preparation for this Spring...
More along the lines of "Preventative Maintenance"
Replaced oil cooler gasket
Turbo oil line
Replaced manual transmission fluid (OEM)
Repaired rear fog light wiring (rodent damage)
Timing chain slack test (tested in spec but at maximum wear)
Replaced Timing Chain cassette and associated parts.
Replaced timing chain tensioner.
Replaced valve cover and gasket.-

I just pulled the MINI out from hibernation last Friday and decided to give it a fresh wash on Sunday. Very therapeutic...
It sure felt good driving it with all the nannies turned off.
