Think Paul made a good point... When I go to McDonalds, " A Job Well Done " is measured differently than when I go to a Ruth Chris... If you pay $5.00 for a haircut then your expectations are/should be lower than when you pay $50.00... So if ya go to Walmart and buy an offbrand product for a cheap price you most likely got exactly what you ask for... But when a student is put in an advanced class it should be advanced and not just called that so a certain percentage of whatever can feel better about themselves... It's a false goal line and doesn't help the whatever to actually aspire too and achieve a higher level... It's like when folks say they shot par on a golf course but counted anything in that was within a foot of the hole, when/if they ever have to play for real they won't even be close to par....:frown2: Mediocrity thrives....
I'm pretty confident that the vast majority of Walmart shoppers are not sitting around right now thinking "Wow, I hate the crappy quality of all that Walmart stuff I bought". I bet more are thinking "Wow, I'm glad I was able to afford all this stuff!" And, without Walmart, we wouldn't have www.peopleofwalmart.com
