Just want to wish all a Merry Christmas. In these days of social correctness, I wondered if this was the right thing to say. Then I remembered some of my childhood. I grew in a neighborhood with a lot of Menorah's displayed this time of year. One my best friends, Joey was Jewish and we practically shared homes and parents. One time Joey's mom and dad explained the tradition of lighting the candles to me. I don't know if I understood what they where saying. But I did understand this was a very important event in their life and they where including me. It felt very good to be cared about and loved. So with this thought I say Merry Christmas to all.
Merry Christmas from Ohio as well. To me, social correctness is expressing what you believe with a positive and non-threatening demeanor.
Thank you for starting this thread. No matter what you celebrate if you celebrate anything may your celebrations be celebratory! Hows that for being PC? I'm not one that is big on Christmas, could be the Jewish factor, but I sure do enjoy the season and am looking forward to spending time with both friends and family. After all, isn't that what it is all about.
