Michael Shank Racing sets new track record @Daytona

    Breaking FIA world speed records that have stood since 1979, along with one of racing's hallowed marks, the Daytona International Speedway single lap closed course record, is no easy task.

    But Michael Shank Racing, the Roush Yates 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, Continental Tire, Daytona International Speedway and many more helped Ford Racing etch October 9, 2013 in the record books.

    Nice! That's gotta be hairy doing those speeds on a closed track like that. That car will be in the new USCC series.

    They need to drop that motor into a Focus, AWD, hmm......is that going to be the RSR Focus?
