Chuck, I agree with the logic of them making money and keeping the place open, but don't promote events such as this and the high school cross country championships as adding value to my VIP Season Pass. Bottom line is that they need additional motorsports events that utilize one of the best road courses in the country.

Strange yes, buy they own that track to make money. If holding a mud bog rodeo helps them stay open I'm all for it. Provided it isn't held in conjunction with any race I'll be at. Bet if you buy a VIP pass you can do a parade lap of the mud bog in the countryguy. I'm sure Jim wouldn't be happy, but seeing the track fail & close would be worse. RIP Jim.

There is no reason to pay for a VIP ticket as things are same as last year sadly. Slim pickings for us car guys.

They must think their facilities are available for rent. That's just wrong. Just like sports stadiums shouldn't be doing rock concerts and church revivals. Next thing you know, they stoop to doing a Mutt Strut.

It's sad when the schedule doesn't justify a VIP Pass....again! Oh well, I'll be up there for the Vintage, PWC and Friday Indy.

Does this mean people pay to watch these silly adventure races?

I look forward to a couple track days there this year, my only motor sports live watching planned for 2015 is the Canadian GP.

I just ordered parts for the timing belt. Radiator, belt, roll bar will all happen at the same time. Probably February first track day will likely be at the new corvette track in April. Then planning a trip to Road America late spring or early summer depending on when they have track days. My goal is four track days this summer.

That's a great goal. Let me know when the install of the roll bar is. I'd like to see how one goes in.
