I thought it was a good commercial but I suspect it went over the heads of many people.

Judging from all the MINI FB posts it went over many heads...

It was good, and it benefited from a lackluster all around entertainment package: choppy game, weak commercials, half time show that had to be saved by the mercurial Bruno Mars.

As Coldplay was performing, all I could think was "omg, this is awful". So it's true, white folks can't dance and got no rhythm. Even worse than Coldplay's performance was that crowd of "fans" surrounding the stage looking so fake with stilted, scripted mechanical movements.

While I'm not a fan of the music the production was rather impressive.

I can't remember a recent super bowl half time where I didn't think the same thing. The reason it sucks is different from one year to the next but there's always something that makes me cringe, hit the mute button and find a reason to leave the room for a while. Every year. Based on what I've heard and read I'm happy I missed it entirely this year.
