2006 R53 with 38,000 miles is now for sale.
the interesting part in this listing is the fact that the seller was sold a "Milltek" but it's some Chinese junk instead. Read the comments. I have two cars with Millteks, resonator and unresonated. What is on that car is different.
Otherwise, sweet car, and not at all messed up. Love the color more than the blue one I have, but sometimes you can't choose. Plus, I paid 6700 for my blue car. Let's see what this one brings. Non-JCW, so I am guessing 17,000. No reserve this time.
I wonder what this one bring it’s been so crazy
With over four days to go the bidding on the R53 is $6200.
With two days to go the Blue 38,000 mile R53 is at $6500.
With less than twenty hours to go the 38,000 mile Blue R53 is at $15,000.
GP2 with 8,000 miles and is now at $32,250 with three days to go.
A 2006 MCS JCW with 36,000 miles.
The blue R53 ended up selling for $16,000.
The 2006 36,000 mile red JCW is being sold by the folks at Geneva Motor Cars and is at $13,500 with four days to go.
The blue 38k '06 S sold for $16k.
That red '06 JCW will likely bring 25k. It does come with a selection of quality performance parts, plus a laundry list of worthless bling parts. Somebody ran out of ideas what else to buy for their Mini, it seems.
I am always amazed how many low miles nice R53s are out there, and especially how this dealer here in Wisconsin manages to locate these cars.
Like you I find it amazing that there are so many low mileage R53’s that are being sold let alone all the ones that aren’t being sold. Geneva Motors definitely has a knack for locating these low mileage gems.
I’ve never been good at guessing the price of cars being sold and definitely not ones being sold on BaT. I thought the MC40 would go higher, the wanna be JCW a tad lower and the most recent sale of the blue R53 a bit lower.
With less than two days to go the 8,000 mile GP2 is now $33,000.
It will be interesting to see how the bidding goes on the GP2 when it gets in that two hours to go crazy time as someone has upped the bidding to $33,250.
With twenty four hours left the GP2 is at $34,000.
With two days of bidding left the exceptionally clean ‘06 JCW is at $15,000.
With four hours left in bidding the GP2 is still at $34,000. Interestingly there was a similar mileage second generation GP that recently was bid to $34K but was reserve not met but with this much time left there should be some bids made.
The 8,000 mile GP2 sold for $34,000. That bid held firm for at least twenty four hours before auction ending which is unusual in the short time that I have been watching these auctions.
Interesting sidebar to this GP2 sale is that the winner of this auction at $34,000 was the highest bidder at $34,000 on the 6700 mile GP2 three weeks ago that did not meet the reserve price.
The immaculate red 06 JCW sold for $21,750.
