I think he may ave a problem with the wiring harness.
He said “They did preliminary inspection and found the race chip harness melted -which they repaired (assume I routed it incorrectly). They indicated the ECU might have shorted out which was causing the issue.”
If it melted the harness there is no telling what els it did. I asked what DT said when the problem returned sounds like he elected not to take it back to them. Not the answer I hoped for.
I am watching this one till the end. I really hope someone does not buy it thinking they will take it to their favorite shop and it will be fixed. If someone does get it and gets it fixed I would love to know what was the problem. This has money pit written all over it.-

With a little less than twenty four hours of bidding left the 67,000 mile Chili Red 2013 Mini Cooper S 6-Speed is at $3311. Should be a very interesting last half hour of bidding when folks who have been waiting off to the side decide to jump in as you just know there’s a couple of folks who want for parts and few who figure they have what it takes to repair it.

No it would be a big pain in the a$$. Pizzaman09 said he bought the car with 16k on the clock. The current owner bought it from him. Pizzaman09 said most of the mods were done before he bought the car. The car now has 67k on it. That means most the mods now 51k on them, that makes them very used, or at least I think so. Also I asked how many miles were on the car when the motor was replaced he said 24k. I think it’s a nice car but not worth much not running correctly.
