I agree that last minute bidding is the norm but convertibles historically do not do as well as the hatchbacks and I wonder if the market is starting to soften.
A 28,000 mile Chili Red 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW Convertible 6-Speed is now being offered for sale on BaT. It will be interesting to see how this convertible does compared to the one with higher mileage that sold on Saturday.
A 44,000 mile Astro Black 2008 Mini Cooper S Convertible Sidewalk Edition 6-Speed is now being offered for sale on BaT. Car has plenty of nice options along with being a JCW. Convertible market might be split as there are are two on BaT now but time will tell.
A 16,000 mile 2013 Mini Cooper JCW GP #0264 is now being offered for sale on BaT. While being low mileage compared to a higher mileage that just recently did not meet reserve this one also has had a Carfax reported small mishap. Time will tell if this has any effect on the bidding.
I believe you’re correct in saying there’s a market correction taking place and that sellers are going to have to be more realistic in their expectations.

The 34,000 mile Laser Blue 2009 Mini Cooper S JCW 6-Speed is now being offered again on BaT but this time it has a no reserve. This car was bid to $13,250 on 10-31-22 and reserve was not met but will definitely have a new home this time.
