Like you, I enjoy owning my Gen 1 MINIs and know that, "the finances are not completely unjustified". By the way, "fuck the expense" briefly came into mind when it was time to replace the CVT in my R50 25,000 miles ago...just a brief hiccough, though...right before it went into its "surgery".-

Not sure about this GP, kinda of a sordid background, all those suspension bits replaced make me think it was driven off road or wrecked but not reported. JMO.
