It will be interesting to see how the bidding goes on the GP2 when it gets in that two hours to go crazy time as someone has upped the bidding to $33,250.
With four hours left in bidding the GP2 is still at $34,000. Interestingly there was a similar mileage second generation GP that recently was bid to $34K but was reserve not met but with this much time left there should be some bids made.
Interesting sidebar to this GP2 sale is that the winner of this auction at $34,000 was the highest bidder at $34,000 on the 6700 mile GP2 three weeks ago that did not meet the reserve price.
I believe it has become bring bags of money. The days of reasonably price project cars are long gone. Sure is a fun place to spend a bit of time day dreaming.
With just over an hour to go the 38,000 mile 2011 MCS JCW convertible with no reserve is still at $11,000. If bidding doesn’t pick up someone is going to get a very nice R57 for a great price.
With less than twenty four hours to the 23,000 mile 2006 MCS JCW convertible is now at $8,300. This is a nicely optioned car and at the moment doesn’t appear to be getting much love.
There are some red flags with this car for sure and because of them the selling price most likely will be low. Compare this 02 with the red 02 and there is a huge difference in condition plus comments and last but not least bidding. I agree that I was a bit surprised that this MINI made it in BaT but it sounded good in its drive video and should make someone a nice low dollar fun car.
