That's because it's a Gen 1 GP1, and the Gen 1s are the best MINIs ever made.

No….not me…….I’m trying really hard not to add a TT to the line up. There is a really sweet one for sail down the street. It’s a 2004

It went a day with no bids so I thought I’d start the auction off. Hard to judge how the bidding will go because some will think to many miles and others will lament that its had paint work but in the end it will go for pretty near what the last went for.

We can always hope it goes for a good price. I can't believe how many sellers of these great cars never seem to put any miles on them..What a waste for the best GP1 ever made!

My '06 MCSa has over 160,000 miles of pretty hard use [Dragon, track, and more fun stuff] and I'm not parting with it til they pry my dead fingers off the steering wheel. The same goes with my early '03 R50.

The 5,000 mile 2004 ‘slick-top’ R53 with JCW Tuning kit has sold for $26,000. There had been a lot comments on the mileage (lack of) being a detriment but in the end the low mileage was a plus.
