GP #1301 with 41,000 miles and not appearing quite as nice as this one sold back in June for $31,000. You would think that whoever lost out on that one would be a definite player for this one.

Not too sure about that… there were the $56,000 and $45,000 GP’s before this one. With 300 and 4K miles respectively, both of those made the GP with only 14 miles a steal at $36,000.

With a little over twenty four hours of bidding left the 15,000 mile R53 GP is at $26,500. The last hour of bidding should be interesting as this is an extremely nice well taken care car.
The 15,000 mile R53 GP #0553 just sold for $43,261. The last hour really pushed the price upward. So far the GP1 phenomena is still going strong and doesn’t appear to be slowing down especially for extremely well taken care of low mileage examples.
The seller owned the car about thirty months and he actually made money on the deal. Good for seller and good for the buyer who got a extremely nice GP.
