The 41,000 mile 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW GP sold for $30,250. There was no last minute bidding war. The seller was very active in the sale and it would be very unlikely to find a better GP with the documentation of this one.

The 2,400 mile Lamborghini Orange 2002 Mini Cooper 5-Speed sold for $11,800. Amazing selling price for a vehicle with a lot of questions.

When it first came up for sale I thought it was a $31-33,000 car and after learning that the car had such great documentation I was sure to it….but I was wrong.

With just under eighteen hours of bidding left the 2013 Mini Cooper JCW GP is at $15,000. The auction is a bit odd in that there are almost no comments being made for or against this car in particular and GP2’s in general so it will interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

The 51,000 mile Chili Red 2006 Mini Cooper S 6-Speed sold for $14,000. The buyer got a very nice car for a respectable price.

I agree that last minute bidding is the norm but convertibles historically do not do as well as the hatchbacks and I wonder if the market is starting to soften.
