A 2010 Mini Cooper S JCW World Championship 50 Edition is now being offered on BaT. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2010-mini-jcw-world-championship-50/
A modded Royal Grey 2006 R53 with 64,000 miles is now on then auction block. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-mini-cooper-s-53/
A couple interesting features on the Royal Grey R53 is that it’s a tin top and it does not have cruise. It also does not have as many photos of the car as many other mini’s have which is something that has not been brought up yet.
With twenty hours to go the 12,000 mile 2007 R52 is at $12,000. Beautiful car being sold by Geneva Motor Cars should do well in the final hours of the auction.
The single owner 12,000 mile 2007 R52 sold for $14,500. I really thought it would sell for a higher amount just because of low mileage and having only one owner.
With about twenty-four hours left the 2010 the R56 JCW World Championship 50 Edition is now at $12,000.
Geneva Motor Cars has a 30,000 mile 2006 MCS convertible now on BaT. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-mini-cooper-s-57/
I agree that it was a great deal. MINI convertibles, even primo low mileage ones, just do not seem to bring as much as the Hardtops.
This is true, rag top MINI's have never sold in big numbers. A MINI convertible would be a fine doddle on the back roads leaf peeper ride. My fav is a tin top with no sunroof.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2010-mini-jcw-world-championship-50/ 16,750!! I cant believe it! I thought it would have gone for much more. I would rather have this mini than a GP2. My dream mini is still a GP1 but this car was a close second.
