    The list is nice to have, but we should avoid using acronyms as it makes things less clear, especially with technical questions. Years ago I took technical writing classes, use of acronyms were not allowed as it confuses the message.

    Agreed - (and I’m super bad with using them).. but for newbies.. it’s good reference as folks will use them in speach even if not imon the forum and it’s kind of fun MINI related ones. Example “Justa”. Also are you going to write Anti Lock Brakes..multiple times in a row? Not sure I would. :)

    In technical writing you spell out the acronym early in the article and the acronym is allowed afterwards.

    Completely agree.. That is a best practice. I can’t say I always follow it though. :Pompus:
