I was pretty young back in those day and I didn’t remember her in a Mini but I do remember her in a Saab.

 

While I have great respect for Pat Moss & her motorsport accomplishments I see this as cash grab by MINI.

I remember reading about Pat Moss. She rallied most all BMC cars & SAAB's too. I remember her driving a big Healey. She was married to Erik Carlsson who was quite the rally driver in SAAB's.

I thought the same thing about using her name. I then thought how many people who aren’t sixty to seventy years old are even going to remember her racing exploits. I also remember her brothers racing career and also her husbands legendary career in a Saab.

 

Yes we have been outed as old farts. Yep brother Stirling could peddle a car with the best of them.
