As far as I am concerned this is the best armrest BMW has made for the Mini:
    Display Products

    Although It seems expensive now.

Yep, often I can rationalize 'MINI Money' priced items but I just can't wrap my head around $259 to $300 for a freakin armrest!. That MINI logo on the front of this unit must be the difference!

Looking at the MINI Mania one a little closer it appears it has more support than just the three screws. From what it's saying it has a addnl support "rubber foot" that rests on existing console.

While my non arm rest ride is pretty fine it would be a nice adder. We'll see if Santa thinks I've been naughty or nice. I think the former.....

I hear you. I bought mine when they were still only $175. Must be the exchange rate.

I put one of these in my 2006 R53. It was solid as a rock. It does have a "foot" that rests on the tunnel just behind the hand brake handle.

    I paid $170.
