I remember him mentioning he not be doing it again this year.
It would be a shame- he did a fantastic job... but I also know how hard it is doing all that and how you can get burned out.

 

Go Badges will most likely have a 2012 Grill badge for us this year. I do believe that Jack will have a 2012 patch available for us. FYI...Jack has embarked on a new career and will be MA for a new dealership in the Tampa area. He has confirmed that he will be at the Dragon!!

Hey gang! I'm still here and will have to patches as usual. This year the MOTD patch will have a Solid Gold background to commemorate the occasion and honor the MINI of the same color.

Also, I may put together a special, framed set of all 10 patches (and the veteran patch) and have a raffle for the charity. I stashed away a few sets knowing they may come in handy some day

And for those who don't know, my position at the St. Petersburg Times was eliminated in October after 26 years of service. I continue to be "The Gadget Guy" on my own with a new private blog at The Gadget Guy | All the latest gadgets.

And the really exciting news, as Barry mentioned, is that I will soon be working as a Motoring Advisor at the new MINI of Wesley Chapel which will open in mid March. I will be at MOTD representing the dealership and doing a lot of the same things you've known me to do.

All standard 3-inch badges will fit the Build-a-Badge.

 

I have a marker page on the domain for now. I closed my store because sales dropped off dramatically and when my position was eliminated, I took precautionary measures to cut expenses. I plan to build a simple web page with some PayPal buttons for a few things, namely the Build-a-Badge which is still a very popular item. So watch for that in the future.

what is a build-a-badge?

 

A badge holder that attaches to the grill of your car.

 

Glad to see you are still around.... we all love your products!!!!

 

It's a metal badge holder of my design. It looks like a gear and has a recessed area for the magnetic badge. It was designed to hold the Cooper Flags Magtastic badges, and really looks the best with the custom domed badges I have produced in the past. All standard 3-inch grill badges will fit it though. Here is a photo of one installed.
