Obviously they made the right decision when a lot thought they ruined the brand. My wife loves hers.

Since 2007 Porsche has sold more Cayenne's than 911's.
Obviously the market wants these types of vehicles. Why should we besmirch MINI for entering the fray as well. They are, after all, in business to make products people want.
While some may point at a Countryman and laugh it is the high sales volumes of these sorts of vehicles that allow MINI to create gems such as the GP.-

I'm glad Penny is happy.
Yes it was a good move for BMW/MINI. Makes them lots of money. That being said I still think they are moving in the wrong direction. Now we have a giant hatchback next to a small SUV. The SUV makes more sense. The sales figures show that. Here's hoping the next MINI car remains a small car & a good one at that. :fingerscrossed: -

We adore our CM all wheel. More so than our Roadster? No. Really glad Mini is producing this more functional vehicle---while still maintaining production of the legendary two-door models.
