I already use my 09 Jcw as a cargo truck most of the time and the extra Horse power comes in handy for pulling the trailers around to shows. If anyone is interested I will be releasing an interior panel protection system for the Clubman soon. Let me know and you
Could be one of the first on the road. Thanks, Russell / MiniFini.
Check out the hitch systems we have for all of the Minis and We are a dealer for the
Littleguy Teardrop trailers. There are unlimited configurations available to suit any need.

All of the "special" MINI vehicles were driven accept for the Clubvan. I wonder why it was a Cooper D instead of a Cooper. Would love to see if this means the diesels will be coming in the near future.

I don't see these going much beyond expensive "boutique" shops. Doesn't make sense as a general "trade" vehicle. No room, too expensive. The "S" unfortunately would simply make it more expensive. Trade vehicles need to be crammed with "stuff". Don't expect these to have much of an impact on the sales graph.

The production Clubvan will make its first public appearance at next weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Rumor has it there will also be a Clubvan at MTTS too.. -

Even in S for the MINI was not meant to pull trailer's. I know there are some nice hitches out there, but not sure how long the MINI's clutch will be up to that job.
I was at the local dealer a few years ago on Monday after MOTD & there was a MCS Clubman owner who was there asking for a new clutch after towing a trailer down around & back. -

There has always been a trailer towing option available from the European Mini buyer. We make hitches to address the desire a lot of folks have to pull a light camping trailer or for
Motor cycles and Jet ski's. Does Mini put a stronger clutch on the car for europe? I think not. But my experience after towing 25,000 plus miles with a standard S and a clubman S
Is that in moderation this is a practical option for the Mini. I would not recommend towing over 1,500 lbs. or aggressive driving while towing. As this can cause premature clutch failure. -

Yeah, my father in law had one of those supercharged GMC Typhoons. Owners manual said absolutely no towing or the warranty would be void. Absolutely not built for towing....

Those Typhoons were real sleepers....

Actually... My father in law was asleep one evening and awoke with the sound of some noise out front. Went out to find the drivers side door lock had been pulled. Before he could even get it repaired it was stolen right out of the driveway in front of his house two nights later. It was never recovered.
It was a blast to drive though..... -

Here are some shots at MINI USA Headquarters during MTTS.
Your eyes are not deceiving you...that does say Cooper D.
