Put a safety/security divider behind the seats it would make a great little service vehicle.

 

I'll admit I'm curious,but it's a van not really the direction I'm going when I think Mini,but there are tons of families out there who I would imagine would love something like this,I here it all the time what are you going to do if you have kids or there's not enough room in that little car!
Man that irritates the crap out of me!
When I was growing up my dad fit all 4 of us kids in 2-door hatchbacks as far as I can remember,he'd always have a lil Mazda or a Honda and he used to take us down by the damb out side Greensboro NC and it had all these little hills,that if you hit them at he rite speeds you can jump them!
So we used to beg our dad all the time o take us down that road,I can still feel that sinking feeling in mt stomach!

Now if we only had a mini then imagine how much better that memory would be!
If this van is as cool as any of the current line up I think there re some good memories to be had in it as well,let's see it mini I think we are ready...

 

I wonder if that lil van has rear seats. A true van would not need them. For me it is pretty darned neat. For folks with lil ones a clubman fills the need nicely.

 

It's not supposed to have rear seats. Just a flat load floor.

Nice, but as someone who works in a trade and uses a full size van it is preferred to have no windows and better "sealed" divider. You lose some rear visibility without the windows but gain in security. You adapt pretty quick to not seeing out the back. A full partition personally looks better and keeps down the possible nose from tools and such, also quicker to cool/heat. Sure this likely isn't going to be used by contractors but it is a van things rattle.

 

Ooo I see what you mean now. I didn't realize you meant a full door but that does make sense. I wonder if they might eventually come up with that for an option.

 

I was thinking two pillows and a mattress for race weekends. Could be a lot of fun. Then a side tent or canopy to watch the action.

How long is it back there? I once borrowed a friend's Honda Element to sleep in for a night(party in the boonies) and I could not fully stretch out. It was not horrible but not nearly as comfy as it looked before I actually tried to sleep.

 

You must be tall. I'm 5'7" and could stretch out in my Element w/no problems I doubt if you'll have as much space in the ClubVan.

 

That could bring back....
Don't come a knockin if the Clubvan is a rockin....

 

MINI Hearse for short and/or budget minded folks. Just sayin'.

 

You have to be a midget to sleep in the back of a Clubman. The flat space, with the rear seats folded, is only three feet wide by four feet long!
