Does it do anything to limit input from the VERY invasive traction control? Bypassing a torque limiter means nothing unless that's addressed. Is it applicable to a manual trans or is this strictly an automatic plug in "tune"?

For $500 I would rather have a custom tune done by a tuner on a Dyno.
$470 for a canned "one for all tune" is steep as that tool only cost $30.00 tops. -
You can raise the torque limiter on the car without changing setting on the traction control and the setup will still operate fine. If your concern is that raising the torque limiter on the car would make the car more prone to breaking traction when you are in a low gear and stomp on the gas pedal and then the traction control would kick in and limit the power output until the traction control modules senses that the wheels are spinning you could always disengage traction control and then (theoretically) the issue would be resolved. Most of the time though, you're not going to break the tires loose (that's not how most everyone drives) so that benefit is that by increasing the torque limiter (which allows more power to the ground) you will still increase the performance when putting the car through its paces.
