I'm about as far from hipster as it gets, but I kind of like it. If I were in London during that time period, I'd check it out.

I like the idea of re-purposing an existing slab of concrete in the city.

MINI keeps on drifting away from trying too sell their cars....
They seem to do things to draw attention AWAY from their cars, and towards a story....of any type...
Sure part of it is marketing....
But anybody hope that it is the realization that BMW/MINI is not entirely happy with the gen3....so rather than sell the car, they are trying to draw attention to the brand as a feel good thing....while trying to fix it in a refresh, and making the gen4?!
I keep trying too step back....but MINI has been such a trainwreck for the gen3 intro....it's hard to not get drawn back in....
Sure toyed with the idea of a gen3....but every new RECALL makes it less likely....but who knows.
