The next person I spoke to there confirmed my MINI has had the Warranty extended, but I must have the dealership diagnose the issue so I can be put on the repair list to get it repaired.
Got paid by BMW of North America today....... IN FULL!!!!!:biggrin5: The job was done at a small shop in my neighborhood. They covered parts and labor.
MiniUSA Has No Record of This I checked their site, entered the VIN of my 2003 and it came back with "no recalls". Where is the documentation of your information please?
It is quite possible your car was not part of the list. Not all were affected. However, I would call MINI USA on Monday and discuss your concerns.
This is not a recall. Every manufacturer does anything they can to avoid a recall. It is a warranty extension and you must be proactive to make a warranty claim.
