I'm keeping my MINI 'forever' as well, unless some engine disaster occurs and BMW/MINI won't do anything reasonable to address the situation with me.![]()

Anyone have a line on R53's that never sold? I will take out a mortgage to buy them all!
-
Wonder if the molds and rights to build the R53, like some did with the classic, could be purchased?

 I remember riding in the back of my Dad's Dodge Coronet, him driving with his left hand while blindly swatting at my sister and I, because we were fighting in the back seat about who was on whose side of the car!

fond memories of riding in the third seat (which faced rearward) of my Dad's 57 Chevy 210 station wagon (283 - 4bbl) with the rear window locked in the up position and all the exhaust fumes and dirt coming in all over us. Maybe that's why I love the smell of exhaust and my haead is screwwed on a little differently. I wouldn't change those days for anything.
