if this is in the wrong section please move, though it would be the best place to put it. so i recently installed a mini fini sport link II on a 2012 cooper s, the install is the same for all the r56 cars. the trailer light harness has changed per the wiring diagram that comes with the kit. White wire - Ground Brown wire - tail lights - yellow/black on driver side Yellow wire - left turn - blue/brown on driver side Small red wire - brake lights - grey/purple on driver side Green wire - right turn - Blue/red wire on passenger side Big red - power - goes to battery these should be the correct wire colors for the 2011+ cars. the instruction sheet was made before these cars and the wire colors have changed(thank you BMW). hope this helps someone save a few steps. Wire diagram Thanks for posting the change we will update our diagram we send out to reflect the change. For the 2011. We have done several installs on the 2012's and I think they went back to the previous wire color assignments. So it remains to be seen what they will do for 2013.
