A report of shots fired early this morning led to the discovery of a partially submerged stolen car at Boyd's Pump boat ramp on the Feather River, according to a Sutter County Sheriff's Department report. The incident at the ramp near Garden Highway and Oswald Road was reported at 2:16 a.m. Deputies found the 2002 Mini Cooper partly submerged at the end of the ramp and called in the Yuba City Police Department dive team to make sure no one was inside, said Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Brenda Baker. The car, which had been stolen from 1100 block of Yolanda Drive in Yuba City, apparently had been "dumped," she said. It was unclear if the reported noises were shots or backfire from a truck, Baker said. From Homepage : Appeal-Democrat
Hummm, key words here are "partly submerged". Therefore, not completely submerged, indicating water not too deep, so why the dive team?? Jim
You need to justify your existence or it becomes an issue the next time the tax levy is put on the ballot. :arf:
