I noticed that the race team kept the factory air box. Everyone with an F series that has one of the aftermarket hot air intakes take notice. I've found maybe 1 aftermarket solution that MIGHT be a decent factory replacement, the rest are just a tube with a cone filter on the end, USELESS!

 

This is next years model. Can't believe they released it already

Love me some MCM :cornut: Been watching those guys for years. This very video is what changed my thinking on "cold air intakes", I had one of those "AHAA!" moments. At the time I did have a HAI on my Accord. After that video it went flying into the trash. I'm all for an aftermarket intake, IF IT PULLS FRESH AIR. Most of what I see on 2nd and 3rd gen MINI's is HAI's. I do a face palm every time I see one. I did change my factory air intake, but it still pulls fresh air.
