Hot on the heels of its 10th anniversary, the MINI brand in South Africa recently also celebrated the opening of its first exclusive dealership. Dubbed Legends @ Zambesi, the new exclusive MINI dealership in Montana Tuine, east of Pretoria, offer all existing variants including the exciting new MINI Roadster.

Christo Lindeque, managing director of Legends @ Zambesi, says they invested a substantial amount of time, effort and preparation into setting up the dealership. “We believe that we’ve made a sound investment, which was largely informed by the market research we carried out,†says Lindeque.

The dealership enjoys unparalleled exclusivity in the premium small car segment– something that will afford it a competitive advantage. “Being exclusive puts MINI in a comfortable space; out there as a pioneer and like previous only MINI innovations will give us an edge,†adds Lindeque.

An exclusive MINI dealership offers every aspect associated with a dealership from a sale and after sales perspective and is located as well as operated separately to a BMW dealership facility.

Lindeque believes that being the first exclusive MINI dealership is one thing, but turning it into a sustainable and successful business is another. “We are extremely excited, motivated and determined to take our exclusivity advantage to a higher level. The task at hand is to ensure that we always stay one step ahead, being innovative and creative as we go along. We are ready to provide our clients with an unforgettable experience in all customer interactions,†declares Lindeque.

“As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the MINI brand in South Africa, it’s great to see the birth of MINI’s first-ever local exclusive dealership,†says Karen Valle, General Manager of the MINI brand in South Africa.

“This move, backed up by the unprecedented sales success of MINI in 2011and the record start we’ve had to 2012, demonstrates that the next ten years will be just as excitng for the brand.â€
