Those are good looking wheels. Before anyone gets the idea to swap them onto another MINI keep in mind the bolt pattern on the Countryman is different than all the other MINIs.
@TRS53, I was angling for a link on your site to M/A![]()

Cool wheel...
How about a link to M/A on that site too please. Thanks -
Nathan just checking if you're on tonight  , never skipping a beat!
(my mouth dropped when I surfed over to MINI Germany today at lunch. I sure hope they offer this rim!)

I like those wheels!!! I'd love to seem them next to the Burnished R129's that have been on sale for awhile... Hopefully these will be a little lower in price than those!!

I've been seriously considering a replacement for my aging 1995 Audi S6 and the Countryman fits the ticket. Since we now have our own NEW MINI of Burlington that is only 16 miles from my house (instead of the silly 187mi I had to drive to Keeler in NY) I was able to spend a few hours there on Saturday looking over a 2012 Countryman. I didnt get to drive one, but will soon. Very nice and would compliment my 2006 R53 well. I'm going to wait for the JCW version this fall to see how it can be specced with additional options. I have the feeling this is going to be one long summer... By this time, MINI should also have the JCW accessories available too, hopefully offering more than just the rear exhaust, R129s, steering wheels and shift knob. -

John Cooper Works Countryman Rim looks to be the Cross spoke R134
In high gloss black or matte finish. Not yet avalable in the US.
Looks nice! -
Correct, looks like R134 with a new "burnished face" look similar to the R129.

The rims look cool except they are 19 inch rims. Lets see the 0-60 times in the woods when it is off road with those 19 inch rims.
As for my feelings on every MINI CM, they are butt ugly. They are not "mini" if they are that BIG. Its like an ugly morphing of an R56 and the BMW X3.
Next we will see them on Speed channel crushing cars on Monster truck hour. -
All those Countryman's you loathe are keeping MINI in the black so thy can also bring us things like the next GP. The Porsche faithful moan and groan about the Cayenne and that 4 door monstrosity the Panamera. It's those kinds of things that sell well to the masses that make 911 GT3's possible.
I think MINI sees the light and is doing the same sort of thing. So while I might not lust over a Countryman like a do a JCW Coupe in BRG/Silver with Recaro's I do think they have a firm footing in the MINI portfolio. -

I still dont like it. MINI has sold lots of cars without the CM just like Porsche has for years / decades.
Neither company needs an SUV in the portfolio to make sales.
Have you seen the Bentley and Aston Martin Lagonda SUV's ?
Yeah they need a crossover / SUV to to keep sales up and stay in the black.
