:cornut: MINI Margi is still running well and no nut shell treatments needed yet(knock on wood) at 86kmi thanks, in my opinion, to my OCC and custom PCV set up which cut down her oil use considerably. I still love driving her and she is still able to be driven much better than I can drive her. She now has a sister, MINI Anne, which I need to enter in my garage. MINI Anne is a 2010 6speed standard R55 Clubman S silver over medium blue dealer converted to sport suspension and John Cooper Works ecu, air intake, and exhaust. Her N18 engine performance trumps Margi's N14 performance but they both have their good qualities. Anne already had Union Jack rear view/side view mirror covers and side scuttles which I left in place. She has 14lbs light weight OZ allegerette 16in blue wheels with Continental 205-50-16 tires and with a hardness rating of 540 and boy do they last. Pictures to come soon.

It's wonderful to be back. Cable TV was killing me by millimeters. So many more bright intelligent friendly MINIacs now and without dark agendas not that we had much of that before but just more of the good guys now. Several already jumped into help when I needed it. MA and it's people, simply the best.

:cornut: Thanks y'all, I appreciate the good words. I do have to tell a disappointing funny on myself though. Young peoples history education (I think) is mildly lacking these days. I pulled into Starbucks and a new local college student took my order. "I love you car sir." "Thank you.Yes the theme is from Manfred Von Richthofen, the Red Baron commander of the Flying Circus of Germany in WWI." " Oh? Whose he and when was WWI? I thought that the theme was a Checker Cab." I thanked her for the coffee and had her put the change in the tip bucket. Life goes on.:frown2:
