    I know, right?

My new MINI has a horrible rattle - so bad I can feel it in the floorboards - but it only happens on certain road surfaces (like in my 'hood) and even tho I've had it on the rack several times I cannot find what's loose or where it's coming from - it's driving me nuts!

    (I know, short trip!)

The radiator will go in today, then I'll get it warmed up and see what it does. It's pretty nice out right now - 75* or so - but it ran hot on 75* days before so while not the same kind of test as when it's 100 out, it should give a good indication of whether I've got a handle on it now.

Yay little Buzz is buzz free, warm, not overheating and dripping oil.

Sounds like you should have a good weekend motoring.

So is the clutch working as well as you expected and are you any closer to resolving the cooling problem ??

Yeah, not really but it's close enough to get away with it till after the fun run. It's amazing how much more comfortable the Miata seats are compared to the old cheapies in the Mini......and while they look a bit "modern" I think they'll be OK.

I have to recover them anyway as the left seat is pretty tired, with some tears and cuts in the leather (natch, as it's the driver's seat) so I may as well see how close he can come to the same style to match the back seat.

Cost will be the real determining factor, as always.....so far I'm into these all of $50.

First off Happy Anniversary to you & your wife.

Second those Miata seats look pretty good in there. I'm seeing them in more & more LBC's.

Nothing done right is ever done quickly. Now you get to enjoy Buzz for a while before you tear the rear end apart.

I don't use cruise much, but boy it is great on those long highway slogs. My Miata was cruise-less & I added it. :D

I absolutely need cruise control for long trips like going to and from the Dragon. My old back and especially right leg get craped up sitting in the same position for 10+ hours.

That is the only time I every use it because traffic around here is nuts.
