Come on down with your friends, you will all have a good time. I've talked with an organizer & new MINI's are indeed welcome. Mini meet east needs you there. I have the OK to steal Babs MINI clubster for the day so I'll be there. although it is going to cost me a complete detail job. :lol:

Your friend can rest easy now. My printer is broken and I cannot register because I cannot print out the registration form. Oh well, life sucks sometimes.

The autocross event should be fun, I believe a former MoM member will be working with the COMO crew to set things up for the day.

Actually, more than one former M0M members will be crewing for the autocross. They still have MIIN/Minis and are an active part of the Dayton OMO club. When I spoke with them at our club meeting earlier this month, they are quite excited about setting up a good course.

 

The menu pricing is confusing to me, I don't plan to enter the autocross but I still can't figure out how much money I need to bring......

 

Good point, I was actually talking about the BMC crew that will be there to help with timing and course set up. I'm not going to be able to help because I'm already taking the previous Friday off to help run the Cobra autocross.

Yes and no. They have been wanting to get the MINIs involved since the start but didn't know where to start so they asked me to help out.

I'll look over the pricing and talk to Jason about making it more clear.

 

I am going to try and gather up several owners and coordinate a drive down to check this out.

I'd rather see a schedule that wasn't full every hour, but because it's so vague, I need some advice on when to plan our arrival.

Aiming for Saturday - what would be a good time to arrive where we wouldn't miss the group being out on drives or the panoramic photo?

edit: reread the registration... Basically we may drive down Saturday morning, hang out, and likely drive back later that afternoon. Is registration required to come hang out for a few hours?

 

I can't speak for the organizers, but my plan is to swing by Saturday see some friends, maybe make a couple of new ones. Look at Mini's & MINI's then head out later.

 

As long as you are not entering the car show or doing any of the planned events, other than just being there to look things over, you'll be fine. Lots of people attend to see what's there. If you don't register, all you have to do is to park your cars and get out and see the ones who ARE registered. I'm hoping I can show my car, but only if I can get registered in time [damned printer]. When I go to my next OMO meeting in April, hopefully someone will give me a printed form to fill out and send.
