Thanks! Did you have a car in the show? I tried to get pics of everything there, but not everything turned out well. That and I spent a lot of time chatting with the MoMers and people I met the day before at the autocross. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The metallic black, Belgian-built '77 MK-IV. I think the headlamp stone guard pic might be me.
You were asking about what class you would be in for one of our regular events. Here is a link that you can use to figure out non-Miata classing. Easiest way is to download the Excel version and find your base class on the last tab and then start plugging things starting on line 48 of the third tab. http://www.buckeyemiataclub.com/2017bmcclasses.html FYI - our next event is this Sunday (7/9)
Pics..... Finally got around to stirring up the pixels from MME. More here..... https://crashton.smugmug.com/Cars/MINIs/Classic-Mini/06-30-2017-MME
Sorry I don't get on here that often. MME is for all Minis. I have no idea why the new style didn't want to come out and play. In my family we have both old and new style minis. Both are great cars
I've never had anyone question my being at an MME with my '03 R50. The "New" MINIs are always put in a different area from the Classics and that's what makes MME a great place to show and look around.
I believe the goal is to place each car in its own category. This way during voting you can easily compare each car within each class. During most shows you might park next to a perfect Cooper S and it makes your car not look so good when yours is a stock Cooper Sounds like you had a good time. Thanks for coming.
