MINI Cooper fans across the Middle East will go on a road trip at the region’s biggest Mini festival, “Drive Out Loud†which will take place on October 27 and 28 in the UAE. MINI owners and fans in the region will embark on the road trip from their home country to Abu Dhabi, arriving on October 27. An exclusive evening gathering will be hosted at the Aloft hotel at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre to welcome the regional MINI community. October 28 will see a programme packed day which will kick off with the largest MINI convoy from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, the company said in a statement. The general public will then join in at the Dubai Autodrome where they will be able to take part in a variety of activities including track drives, stunt shows, parades and driver trainings. There will also be urban art installations, fashion and music shows. Sarah Klippert, MINI manager, Middle East, said: “Whether you’re from Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, or the UAE – jump in your Mini and connect with other fans from all over the region.†To ensure that all MINI enthusiasts across the region have the opportunity to join in the festivities, MINI importers across the GCC have launched an online competition to win tickets as well as MINI test drives and lots of goodies, the statement said. The event will also be used as a platform to launch the new MINI Coupé, the brand’s first two seater.
