I'm disappointed The Daily Toggle felt they needed this subject to draw in viewers. They can do better.

It's the American way, build up a someone to celebrity status & tear them down. I'll admit what he did bothered me, but he apologized & that is good enough for me. The way I see it the only person who was harmed was Brian Williams himself. As an imperfect human I can forgive.

My reaction to it....
Why would he admit to being on the helicopter that came under fire and crashed... Didn't he know that it would be so easy to corroborate... There would have been a report made... There would have been others present... The station would have had to pay him hazard pay for that day.... Anyway... I like Brian Williams the best of all the anchors.... Still do... Hope he comes back...
Oh yeah.... I was the white guy sitting in the back seat of OJ Simpson's white Ford Bronco.... It was a Hella ride I gotta tell you.... Like we had a personal police escort on the freeway... Stopped and had In-N-Out Burgers afterwards... Kayto Kaelin joined us... He cracks me up... In-N-Out Burgers make the best cheese burgers...-

Enough is enough, ya know. MUST we have to live in a would where we are held accountable for EVERY FREAKING misslip we have made? At least HE has apologized and has taken himself away from his job for awhile...UNLIKE that "I never had sex with that woman", Clinton.

Yeah. If that was the worst stretch of imagination (lie) we ever heard we'd have it made.

It might just be me but I have no tolerance for it. Just low, low class.

I think most people are thinking if he willing to lie about that what else is there!! The Military frowns BIG time on people doing what he did when some of them are doing it everyday.. They don't like you claiming to be apart of the action if your not...

Yes he apologized, and sure that's good. But this is a commentary on the press in general. Some jobs depend on honesty and integrity, being a reporter is one. The press is important to the survival of a free country. They need to be held to a high standard, if not then it's just propaganda. The press has grown accustome to playing fast and lose with the facts. Make no mistake this is a big deal. I don't care what your political believes are we should all demand a truthful press.
As Americans we need to stick together more and demand integrity. -

I read this the other day and laughed-
I used to quietly laugh at my grandma for believing pro wrestling. Now I quietly laugh at my mom for believing the network news.

I currently watch all news programs like the skeptical curmudgeon that I have become. I don't trust anything that comes from politicians or the media.
