A Micro Mini. In England a number of people like to section the Mini and drastically shorten the wheel base. You drive it from what once was the back seat. They tend to be real roadsters - no doors and no top. A friend imported one for his collection.

Do have a concern about your choice of trailer to tow behind your MINI. It appears to be light construction, which is good. Additional weight will affect acceleration - more weight means longer times from 0 to cruising speed. But, weight is not the most critical issue, aerodynamics are.

You should find the smallest, and more importantly, the shortest trailer that will fit the scooter. At highway speeds the air that the front of the trailer has to push out of the way creates a drag that will be the biggest factor in towing. The trailer should not be higher than the MINI's roof.

Had a friend that was towing to the races with a VW Scirocco - a fast back design that dumped the air to the entire front of the 6' tall trailer he was towing. Top speed at full throttle was 55 mph. He needed all the space, so he could not shorten the trailer. Suggested that he construct a spoiler for the VW. He took my suggest to the extreme making a huge spoiler that ramped up much higher. Result - 70 mph towing speed at half throttle.

Around town, that large trailer will work fine. Driving on the highway to the Dragon you will think that you are towing huge parachutes behind the MINI, driving at speeds lower than desired and burning copious amounts of gas.

If you cannot find an appropriate small enclosed trailer, consider a small open trailer. Not aerodynamic, but small frontal area will create less drag.

Seems like the flat front end of this one would really cause a lot of aero drag, and slow the car down.....

Chop half the car off then tow around a trailer to carry the stuff that would have fit in the back if it was still there?

    Weird.

I don't know how I feel about these trailers...

Part of me questions killing a mini to make a trailer...

Part of me thinks the donor might not have been salvageable...

    I'm sad/happy.....
