    2007 was a rough year - be sure to check to see if there are any open recalls that need performed on the car. We bought our 2008 and there were 3 that had never been completed.

    free work is the best!

    Welcome! Sorry your MINI is having issues, 07' S is probably the worst MINI ever. An Oil catch can will help keep your valves clean. I'd avoid tuning/performance upgrades, just keep up with the oil changes(every 5k) and fluid changes and hope for the best. Don't abuse it and you should be ok for the most part.

    Welcome to M/A...great site and greater people. Let's straighten out your MIMI so that you can have a lot of MINI fun. 2007 was a model change year which are always problematic...but with proper maintenance can really last and be a fun car...regardless of what SOME people say. :) :)
