Lime Rock Park is one of those tracks that's on the endangered species list, and it's a favorite of mine, as well as Paul Newman's home track, may he RIP. I've only driven it twice but it's a fantastic course, and even if you're just spectating it's also terrific. There's lots of shade, plenty of hillsides to spread a blanket on and since it's a fairly short course, things happen fast!
It will be a wonderful way to spend a Labor Day Weekend, even the drive to the track is great, winding thru the hills over two-lane, tree shaded roads in dappled fall sunshine.
