hey, they are coming back in a BIG way very soon.....have you seen the new homegrown motor they are going to put in the new bike? 111 c.i. and it looks like a piece of art....with Polaris behind them, Indian just might survive for the long term this time.....

I just hope they can make the original proud!

Yea, I almost didn't take my CM to Horton's yesterday. Afraid when I came out the wheels would be missing, graffiti tags all over it, keyed, and perhaps even a nice little surprise waiting in the driver's seat for me. :biggrin5:

But it's ok.....I ride a Harley V-Rod, so I have a lot of experience with getting sat in the corner by other members of the family.....and I like it there......I never have fit in with the rest of the herd anyway.

If it has Mini on it it's better than the rest. It's all in good fun. I know some people have different needs than me at least you can still enjoy having a MINI.
Basides not everyone can be lucky enough to have a RRRRR53.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my R53. There is something really special about those cars.

Yea that motor looks great. I'm torn. I would love for them to do well. The only thing is the new Co. is telling the venders that have kept our old bikes going they must pay something like 20% to them. They are small mom and pop business. They can't afford that fee. If its just for tee shirts fine.
I hope they get it worked out. It would be good for both sides.

I never have heard how BMW/MINI handled the classic market. If anyone knows I would like to hear.

They pretty much are hands off. Established businesses in the Mini space that use Mini in the name were left alone. Hence Mini-Mania, Mini Spares and Mini Sport are still around. It's the businesses that came to be after the new MINI was created that get hassled for using Mini and/or the wings logo in the name.

Thats the way to do it. I hope Indian will do the same. They may be more worried about logo items than with parts.
    Thanks Nathan.
